David Alandete serves as the White House Correspondent for Diario ABC, a leading Spanish newspaper. Previously, he was the Deputy Director of El País, the leading newspaper in Latin America, and the Managing Editor at Adonde Media, a global multilingual audio production company. He is proficient in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Throughout his career, he has published studies and books on disinformation, an area in which he has specialized.

As Managing Editor at Adonde Media, Alandete led a dynamic team across Latin America and Europe, focusing on diverse audio storytelling. His notable achievements include collaborating with Daniel Coronell on the 'Uribe Acorralado' podcast, which reached #1 in Colombia, and editing the Spanish version of 'The Last Days of Maradona,' which won the 2023 Ondas Award. Additionally, he edited the Spanish version of the 'After Ayotzinapa' podcast with Reveal and PRX, delving into a significant mass disappearance case in Mexico. Under his leadership, the Duolingo podcasts achieved top rankings and won a Webby Award in 2022 for both the English and Spanish versions.
