As the Managing Editor at Adonde Media, I led a dynamic team of reporters, producers, and product managers across Latin America and Europe. Alongside my editorial leadership, I prioritized diversity and inclusivity in our storytelling. Weekly editorial meetings ensured team alignment, priority-setting, and I played a pivotal role in assigning producers and editors, conducting final reviews for consistency, and ensuring quality.

Collaborated with Colombian journalist Daniel Coronell on 'Uribe Acorralado' for Spotify, achieving the #1 ranking in Colombia.
Served as Editor for 'The Last Days of Maradona,' a multilingual series on Spotify that attained top rankings in Argentina and other key markets. I actively participated in launching versions in Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French, leading legal reviews for content. Our efforts earned the prestigious 2023 Ondas Award for Best Production.
In collaboration with Reveal and PRX, I edited the Spanish and expanded version of the podcast 'After Ayotzinapa.' This project delved into one of the most critical cases of mass disappearance in Mexico, providing new information. The series was launched in partnership with Animal Politico in Mexico.
As the Managing Editor overseeing all Duolingo podcasts, I directed the production of multilingual, high-quality journalistic content in Spanish, French, English, and Portuguese. During this period, I successfully led Duolingo's English Podcast 'Relatos en Inglés' to claim the top spot on Apple Podcasts in Latin America and Brazil.
Simultaneously, I ensured that Duolingo Spanish Podcast maintained a strong presence in the top 50 on Apple Podcasts, securing the #1 spot in the education category. Our achievements were recognized with the Webby Award for Best Education Podcast in 2022, and acknowledgment as Apple's Best in Spanish-language podcasts.

Key highlights of strategic leadership and achievements:

Managed the digital initiatives at one the world's leading newspapers, including search, social, apps and mobile in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
Grew online readership by 40% to 100 million unique browsers by October 2017, placing El País at the top of the most read newspapers in Spanish in the world.
Led a newsroom of more than 50 writers, editors, photographers and videographers in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa and America.
Created and staffed up teams of writers, editors, bloggers, designers and product managers, publishing at least 20 stories a day plus videos and interactive graphics.
Coordinated the transition of the El País website to its mobile-first design and supervised the implementation and monthly update of both the Android and iOS apps.
Launched a bulletin and podcast audio service for digital personal assistants such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomePod.
Represented the newspaper in partnerships and joint initiatives with main distribution platforms such as Google, Facebook and Twitter.
